Saturday at the Park – {Seattle family lifestyle portrait photographer}

We had a lovely stretch of sunny spring days last week, and I was thrilled to be able to take advantage of it during this session with the “D” family at Volunteer Park.  We encountered a slight wrinkle when we got there and discovered that there were bicycle races going on, but lucky for us, we found a few lovely spots where we could take photos and still see all the action.  Here are a few of my favorite shots.

Golden Gardens

We had a rare, warm sunny day last weekend, so decided to take advantage of the lovely weather and head to the beach! Sadly, we missed out on the orcas that were there earlier in the day, but we did catch a spectacular sunset. I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of looking at water and mountains. :)

Park Playdate – {Dallas Plano kids lifestyle portrait photographer}

I’ve been toying with the idea of adding another type of session to my product offerings, but I wanted something that was true to the spirit of what I’m already doing with parties: more candid and less posed; I love capturing kids being kids. :) So when a friend suggested having me photograph her three boys at the park, I jumped at the chance.  She invited a few other families to join us, and I brought my husband and daughter as well.  Fun was had by all, well until all the kids got hungry and melted down, haha.  Here are a few sneak peeks from last weekend’s playdate.

“S” was a bit of an unhappy camper by the end and only wanted to sit and wait to leave. Ah kids, so fickle. ;)
